How do I create a Nickname?

After logging on, go to the Nickname tab and select Create New Nickname. Select the restaurant you want to order from, the food items that for the order, and any customizations (e.g., extra ketchup, no onions) that you want. The total, plus any applicable local taxes, will automatically be calculated.

Type in a Nickname (up to 15 characters long) to remember this order by. Press Save Nickname to save this as a new Nickname. You won't be charged until you actually order. To order, simply text 90703 with your newly created Nickname!

What is a Nickname?

A Nickname is a word that you choose to store your favorite meals. Let's say that you enjoy eating at Jackie's Burger House. You usually order cheeseburger with pickles, fries, and a diet iced tea. You can save this favorite meal combination under the Nickname 'burger1'. To order, just text 'burger1' to 90703!

How do I edit my Nicknames?

Log in to your GoCelly account, select the My Nicknames tab, and select the edit button on the row of the Nickname that you want to edit. From this screen, you can also change the name of the Nickname itself by clicking on it, or order it online by clicking on the Order Online link.

Can I order ahead of time?

With GoCelly, you can order ahead of time from your computer. Just go to the Order Online section after you log on!

Can I order online using a Nickname?

Yes! Simply log on to your GoCelly account and go to the home screen. In the Order Online section, click on the Nickname that you want to order, confirm your selection, and you're done!

How do I order on my phone using a Nickname?

After creating a Nickname, text your nickname to 90703 to place the order. Standard text message may rates apply.

How do I remember my Nicknames?

Simply log on to your GoCelly account, go to the home screen, and select Print My NicknamesYou can also have GoCelly send you your Nicknames via a text message. Just select Send My Nicknames in the Nicknames section. Note that you can only send yourself this list twice every 24 hours.

Can I order online using GoCelly?

After logging in, simply go to the Order Online tab, select a restaurant, pick your food items, and submit your order.

You can also order your saved Nicknames online. Just go to the home screen and select the Nickname under the Order Online section.

Can I use a friend's phone to order from GoCelly?

Your phone number is tied to your GoCelly account, so you can only place orders using your account from your own phone. If you like using GoCelly, spread the word and tell your friends to sign up!

What is a shortcode?

A shortcode is a 5 digit number that acts as GoCelly's phone number. Simply text a Nickname to 90703 to order!

How do I know that the restaurant has accepted my order?

GoCelly will send you a text message and an e-mail confirmation with a time duration estimate after the restaurant has acknowledged receipt of your order.

How does the restaurant get my order?

When you place an order using GoCelly, the system will interpret your order and convert it into a format that can be transmitted to the restaurant.

What if the estimated order preparation time is too long?

Our time estimates are based on prep times supplied by the restaurant. During peak times, order preparation times will be longer than usual, but be no longer than if you had ordered it at the restaurant. The restaurant will process orders in the order that they receive them. Remember, GoCelly eliminates the time you spend waiting in line or being on hold while placing the order!

What if I want to change my order after I've placed it?

If you wish to modify your order, call the restaurant as soon as possible!

For text message orders, the restaurant's phone number will be sent via the confirmation text message to your phone, an optional confirmation e-mail, and will also be available on the GoCelly website.

For online orders, the restaurant's phone number will be sent via a confirmation e-mail, an optional text message to your phone, and will also be available on the GoCelly website.

How can I view my recent orders?

After logging on, click on the My Recent Orders link for a listing of your recently placed orders.

How do I cancel an order?

With GoCelly, there are several points at which you can cancel. A few seconds after you have placed the order, GoCelly will send you a confirmation that the restaurant has received the order if you want to cancel the order after it has been sent to the restaurant, call the restaurant immediately! The restaurant will be able to contact GoCelly to reverse the charges as long as they haven't already prepared the food.

For text message orders, the restaurant's phone number will be sent via the confirmation text message to your phone, an optional confirmation e-mail, and will also be available on the GoCelly website.

For online orders, please call the restaurant if you wish to cancel the order. The restaurant's phone number will be sent via a confirmation e-mail, an optional text message to your phone, and will also be available on the GoCelly website. You will not be charged as long as the food hasn't already been prepared.

For food that has been scheduled for the future, you can cancel them easily under the Pending Orders section of your home screen.

What if the restaurant has no record of my order even though I received a confirmation?

Despite safeguards put into place, accidents do happen and the restaurant staff could lose your order even though GoCelly has successfully transmitted it to the restaurant. If this is the case, the restaurant will prepare your food as fast as possible.

What if my order was wrong?

Please check and ensure that you have received all of your items before leaving the restaurant. If you've already left, call the restaurant right away to arrange for the correct items to be made available for pickup. The contact information for the restaurant will be in your confirmation text message, a confirmation e-mail, and the GoCelly website.
